"At last... my love has come along. My lonely days are over. And life is like a song"
- Etta James, 'At Last'

The Power of Love
By capturing your day on film, you no longer have to worry that your memories will be forgotten.
At least, that was what we came to discover after our own wedding day. And that was the very reason we decided to pivot from the corporate world to weddings back in 2017.
But to be honest, our own experience inspired us to take things one step further. Because although we received a beautiful film, we wished we had received a more hands-on experience. An experience where we had been guided step-by-step through the cinematic journey.
So, that's what we've created with Morning Light Film Co.
A FEW OTHER THINGS WE'RE INSPIRED BY:
No two stories and no two weddings are exactly the same. So, why would we tell your unique story by using the same template over and over again?! (Hint: The answer is, we don't.)
Instead, before your wedding day arrives, we'll take time to get to know you both. After, the two of us will sit down to collaborate on the approach to your day.
Before a single edit is made, we'll decide on the story structure of your film. And we'll pull from the best of what happened and what was said to tell a story that accurately portrays you and your day.
Golden hour is that magical time of the day shortly after sunrise and right before sunset that makes everything look oh-so-romantic and soft. And because of the bright and cinematic looks it creates on video, it's one of the reasons we'll capture you in it as much as possible.
In fact, we love capturing you in it so much, we partially named our company after it!
You'll also notice (or perhaps, not notice, if we do our job well) that we blend into the environment. By doing so, you'll have the space to truly take in the moment instead of feeling like a camera's hovering around you all day.
You can never be too careful when it comes to capturing the sounds of a one-of-a-kind day like a wedding. After all, it's the combination of the sounds and the sights that turns you and your families blissful smiles into a full-on happy tears fest the first time you watch your film.
So, to further set the tone and tell the story of your wedding day, we'll use up to six sources of audio to capture everything in the very best quality. We'll incorporate sound design - like birds chirping and glasses clinking - that heighten the emotion of the video and help it from falling flat. And we'll hand-select licensed music to fit your distinct personalities.

"They set up times for us to zoom and even worked around the time change that we had living across the country. During the wedding, they were behind the scenes capturing the details without being in your face. They had simple requests that they had thought about that would work in our video and this made our video that much better."
